Debra Engel

Board Chair for ON-SITE Dental Care

Inducted 2000

 Debra Engel is an active director, investor and adviser to a number of
organizations in Silicon Valley. She serves on the Board of Directors
for Aspect Communications, is Board Chair for ON-SITE Dental
Care and is on the Advisory Boards for Icarian Corporation, Hire
Systems, Beyondwork, Decisis and the Concours Group. Debra also
serves the nonprofit community as a board member for the
Community Foundation Silicon Valley, the Center for Excellence in
Nonprofits, and the Center for Innovation at Foothill College. She is
a Senior Fellow and an executive committee member of the Board
for the American Leadership Forum, is the Advisory Board Co-Chair
and past Board Chair for the Career Action Center, and is an
Executive Fellow for the Center of Technology and Innovation at
Santa Clara University.

Debra served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Services for
3Com until August, 1998. Prior to joining 3Com, in November of
1983, where she last served as Vice President, Human Resources.
Debra served as Hewlett Packard’s Corporate Staffing Manager
and as Personnel Manager for HP’s Avondale Division. Debra holds
a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations from Iowa State
University.
