The purpose of Junior
Achievement is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, to
understand business and economics, and to prepare them for tomorrow's workforce.
To do this, Junior Achievement tries to instill in young
people the desire to stay in school and to appreciate life-long learning.
Junior Achievement establishes Business / Education partnerships that create
a bridge between the classroom and the workplace. This bridge is built through a
set of sequential, integrated K-12 in-school programs. Volunteer role models
with diverse backgrounds support all classroom programs.
